A short colloquial expression used by Kahui Kararehe that expresses panic or confusion. The expression appears to be related to a similar expression 'Hara Pūkai!' which means "all over the place!" or "It was everywhere!"
An example for the use of this expression (KK76):
Te tirohanga, kua tapahia too raatou taura. Hara pukanoa! Hara pukanoa! Kei whea te ara?
When it was looked at, their rope had been cut. What on earth! What's going on here! Where is the pathway?
