Taranaki Tū Mai Charitable Trust was established early in 2009, its purpose is to promote Taranakitanga and strong regional networks of identity for all Taranaki iwi and their future generations.

The Trust will promote, support, facilitate and organise the retention and development of the following kaupapa:

Te Ngāruru Wineera is the Tumuaki of Te Wānanga Māori at WITT, he will be joined by other Taranaki Education leaders with discussion centred on Māori Education within Taranaki.&nbsp;

Facilitator: Mike Neho&nbsp;
Mike is the current chair of the Taranaki Māori Trust Board and he will lead a discussion looking at the future aspirations and pathway of the Trust Board.&nbsp;

TARANAKI MĀORI ARTISTS
Facilitator: Hemi Sundgren
Joined by Glen Skipper and others; this is an opportunity for practicing Māori artists to come together to discuss common issues affecting them and look at how there can be collaborative projects in the future.&nbsp;

Kaupapa: Te Rangitaake Manuscripts
Facilitator: Ruakere Hond
Led by Ruakere Hond, Jamie Tuuta and Hemi Sundgren will review a series of letters written by Te Rangitaake, analyse the language he used to communicate with the reader and discuss its application in a modern context
